“Every India-Pakistan clash writes its own script of drama.”

India romped to a seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in the Asia Cup on Sunday thanks to an unbeaten 47-run innings by skipper Suryakumar Yadav and identical 31-run scores from Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Verma while chasing the paltry 127-run target set by Pakistan. In the aftermath of the game, there was a hue and cry in Pakistan about the Indian team’s refusal to shake hands with them. Even India captain Suryakumar Yadav had snubbed his Pakistan counterpart Salman Ali Agha and refused to offer a handshake during the toss. Pakistan have now lodged a protest with the Asian Cricket Council.
